What is the administrative contact? The
administrative contact/agent is an individual authorized to
interact with DomainProcessor on behalf of the domain name registrant.
The administrative contact/agent should be able to answer questions
(non-technical) about the domain name's registration and
the domain name registrant.
How long will it be until the
modifications I have made to my domain name Administrative Contact
Information take effect? The changes you make to the administrative contact will be
updated within 24hrs.
Can I have my contact information
removed from the WHOIS database? No. InterNIC is required to provide the organizational,
administrative, technical and billing contact to those performing WHOIS
queries.
Step-by-step
instructions to modifying the administrative contact
Step 1 Login to your Account Manger
by entering your username and password.
Step 2
Select the domain name that you would like to modify.
Step 3
Then click on the Administrative Contact from the
menu located on the left hand side of page.
Step 4
Click the "Modify" button at the bottom of the page to
edit information.
Step 5 Type in the new information in the provided fields. If you
would like to update the organization/billing/tech contact with the same
information, select the check box. When you are done, click the
"Update Now" button. Your information will be updated
within 24hrs.
