• How do I setup URL Forwarding for my domain name?
Log into your Account Manager (http://www.DomainProcessor.com/accountlogin.asp) and follow the instructions to setting up URL Forwarding.  

• How does URL Forwarding work?
URL Forwarding works by setting up instructions on DomainProcessor's web servers that tell visitors' computers that the actual files for the web site they are looking for are located in a different place. The visitor is then redirected to the proper web server, in order to access the web site files.

• Why is URL Forwarding unavailable for my domain name?
If you've change the DNS info associated with your domain name to servers other than that of DomainProcessor, you will not be able to activate URL Forwarding. 

• Does it cost anything to use the URL Forwarding?
No. There is no cost for DomainProcessor's URL Forwarding service. 

• What is the difference between the four methods of forwarding?
These are the three methods of URL Forwarding:
  1. Ad-Free URL Forwarding - user is forwarded to your website directly. No frames, no pop-ups and no ad pages! No catch!
  2. Forwarding with Navigation Bar - a DomainProcessor navigation bar will appear on the bottom of the page.
  3. Forwarding with Pop-up window - when user access your website, it will be accompanied by a pop-up window which you have the option to close. 
  4. Forwarding with ad page - viewer is first directed to a page before accessing your website.  

• Do you provide ad-free URL Forwarding?
Yes! DomainProcessor does provide ad-free URL Forwarding. We ask that you place (NOT REQUIRED) a DomainProcessor button on your site.

• How do I activate URL Forwarding?
To activate URL Forwarding, log into the Account Manager and fill in the required fields. It will begin working within 12 hours. If it is a newly registered domain name (within 72 hours), please allow 24~72 hours before it begins to work.

• How often can I change my forwarding information?
As often as you need to.

• How long does it take for the URL Forwarding to take effect and point my domain name to my existing website?
When you activate URL Forwarding associated with your domain name, it will begin to point to your website within 12 hours.

If it is a newly register domain name (within 72 hours), please allow 24~72 hours for the URL Forwarding to begin working.

• What is the Domain Name Keeper?
Domain Name Keeper is a great solution for domain name owners who have a web site hosted with another service provider  that may provide addresses that are long or difficult to remember.

Your destination Web site content will be displayed on the screen, while your domain name will remain visible in the Address field of visitors' Web browsers, masking the destination URL. Click here to see sample.

• How do I set up the Domain Name Keeper?
In the Account Manager, select "Activate Domain Name Keeper"  in the URL Forwarding section.

• If I change the DNS to other than that of DomainProcessor, could I still use the URL Forwarding?
No. The DNS of the associated domain must list DomainProcessor's domain name server as the authoritative in order to activate the DomainProcessor's URL Forwarding service.

Step-by-step instructions to modifying URL Forwarding

Step 1
Login to your Account Manger by entering your username and password.

Step 2
Select the domain name that you would like to modify.

Step 3
Then click on the Domain Name Server (DNS) from the menu located on the left hand side of page.

Step 4
Click the "Modify" button at the bottom of the page to edit information.

Step 5
Select one of the forwarding methods and enter the URL (web address) where you would like to connect your domain name to. You may activate the Domain Name Keeper by selecting the check box. Click the "Update" button when you are done.
