your .name forwarding email address of the same name will be put on
hold for as long as you own the registration on your domain.

How do I
register a .name now?
1) Log into Account Manager
(if you do not have an account, click
here)
2) Enter .name domain(s) that you would like to register
3) Enter payment information
4) Print out online registration confirmation
5) Receive email notification on the outcome of the
registration
Do I still get the free email forwarding offered by
DomainProcessor if I purchase the .name domain name?
Yes. you will still get the 10 free email forwardings from
DomainProcessor, however they are 3rd level emails formatted as
anyname@firstname.lastname.name.
If you wish to obtain a 2nd level email like firstname@lastname.name,
you will need to purchase the above listed options because technology and structure is different for .name domain
names.
What's the structural difference between .name domain
name and other extensions?
The .name domain name has to be registered on the 2nd and 3rd level,
it is different from the other top level domain names like
.com, .biz, or .info which registers domain names only on
the 2nd
